Good afternoon everybody!

As well as doing the project I have mentioned before, they have asked me to do another one. This new project is about the "Cadalso in Concert", a show by our school. This year I sang with a group of seven girls (plus me) and two boys. We sang "Hey Soul Sister" by Train and "Payphone" by Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa. I have to do this project with Curro and Nazaret. My part is to give my personal opinion about my experience as a participant. The show took place in the theatre "Juan Luis Galiardo". There were more than 50 participants, plus all the people who were encharged of the technical stuff (15 people more or less). This year, as last year, we were all very nervous, but we tried to encourage one an other. The feeling of fellowship was great! I hope next year it will improve (even though I think this year was fantastic), and that more people will participate. JESSICA MORILLAS HYDE

"Vaya Par"

We have done an interview to Pablo Plaza and Pilar Díaz, two classmates. We have chosen them because they have very different characters. Pilar is outgoing and Pablo is very shy and quiet. This is the background I've chosen because it makes a contrast between cold colours and warm colours, which represent the difference between both characters. After doing the interview we realised there are a lot of things that there two classmates have in common. They both prefer the beach, they have the same obsesion, etc. What makes them different is the way they relate to people. Pilar, which is more outgoing, loves spending time with her friends, she goes to many concerts, and loves partying. Pablo, on the other hand, might prefer staying at home on the computer, and he's never been to a concert (besides the "Cadalso in Concert". This doesn't mean he doesn't like spending time with his friends, but not as much as an outgoing person. We asked Pablo for a quote, and he said: "The sage does not say everything he thinks, but always thinks everything". So, even though, Pablo is quite shy and doesn't talk much, we can asume he thinks everything he says (or at least, he tries to). JESSICA MORILLAS HYDE

New Project!

Hi! In this last term we are going to create a class magazine, which will be called "Science Freaks". All the work is divided between all the classmates. We are in charged of "Vaya Par" which consists in an interview of two people who have different character.

Alhaja fountain

Hello everybody, I'm Alicia Collado. The last day we talked about "El Pinar del Rey" and I had to talk about the Alhaja fountain: The source of Alhaja is right at the entrance of Pinar del Rey. It is a public source popular with residents and visitors as the quality of the water has made for years, the residents of San Roque and the region will come out of there to administer it.

History of "el Pinar del Rey"

Hello everybody! I'm María Rodríguez and I´m again here to talk to you about the history of our nice wood, "El Pinar del Rey". This forest dates back to 1800 when the powerful Spanish Navy trees planted here to supply wood for building warships. At that time Spain was still the first naval power in the world, but after the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, fortunately for lovers of nature, our country lost this supremacy. The king Ferdinand IV was the one who gave the mountain where the Pinar City of Gibraltar in 1310. As an anecdote to underline that the Royal Society Hunting Gibraltar, "The Royal Calpe Hunt", organized fox hunts in the nineteenth century in this area, and many other places of the municipality and the Campo de Gibraltar.
